New Google Labs Features.
Google labs is basically a place where Google experiments it new features. Based on the user interest and feedback, they make it to the final feature list of the Google products. Google recently added a couple of new features to its Google image search and Google News. These are Similar images and Google news timeline.
- Similar Images: This feature lets the user find the images that are similar in nature. The video below demonstrates what it can do.
- Google news timeline: This feature lets the user sort out the news according to a time line. The interface is really cool and you can sort the timeline by days, month and year. A simple search of Barack Obama gave me the following results:

And finally just for the heck of it, I tried to look at the decade view. It was interesting to see 10 years worth of news in one single column.
